A lot of really interesting things have been going on right now. But Whenever I have had the chance to write about it my mind goes blank or I have no inspiration.

I’ve been working at the cafe quite a bit, it will never be like working in design but for a parttime job it is possibly the most amazing thing right now. One of the girls quit, and most of her shifts have been given to me which means I will have more time during slow periods to work on a business plan. Speaking of graphic design 4 positions just opened up locally and one in the NWT. I am hoping to get a call back on any of them. Right now I would take the one up north, its not like I eat expensive food anyways (bread milk meat) or have a car.

Tomorrow I have a meeting for the Young & Fearless project. I’ve decided to be the “auctioneer”, hopefully they need some design or marketing. Not that I dont enjoy doing other things, I would just really like to be able to say I did something in my field for this project.

A few weeks ago I took this photo of food from the market and then felt very dirty for some reason. I think it was because a lot of the food pictured (Broccoli, tomato’s, chives) are all summer veggie’s and even though I bought them from the market they probably came from the same suppliers asthe Stupid Store.

I feel less guilty about these flowers, I bought them at Pete’s Frootique, and I know the supplier is the same as the stupidstore, however Pete’s sells them cheaper and with more variety of colours. These are Petticoat/Double tulips. I love the colour of yellow, its a nice Naples.

It has been forever since Ive sat down and written. The Hotel finally forked my money over, after a week of me complaining.

Friday Evening I took Greg out for dinner at Chives, our favourite fine dining. Super was amazingly good.

Becky and I went out shopping on saturday and I got a sexy new hair cut for 15$. A salon was doing a “Cut for the Cure” breastcancer fund raiser. So i ’splurged’ and got a hair cut. Becky also humoured me and tried on clothes too. I bought 3 sweaters, 1 shirt, a blowdrier, and a pan, and 2 pairs of leg warmers. One for me and one for B.

I know I didnt do a photo post of this weeks groceries but before I got to take a picture I was already baking. So I will do a list:

10$ Salmon
3$ Tomatos
2$ Celery
5$ Bacon
6$ Bagels
4$ Quark Cheese
3$ Goats Milk
5$ Flour
4$ Quinoa
2$ Peas
3$ Spinach
4$ Eggs
2$ Apple Cider
4$ Cranberries
4$ Honey
5$ Misc Baked goods.

Sunday I spent baking. I made Minestrone soup, 2 pumpkin pies, a batch of cookies that failed, and cranberry sauce.

I am currently working with a client who wants me to use copy righted work and it makes me want to vomit. Vomit so bad.

All in favour of losing your rights, please do nothing

Today was market day (image post to come later). I ended up staying at Gregs last night, and we both woke up “in a mood”. He was a bit cranky, and I was in the “easily offended” mood, which never go well together. I really wanted to get laid this morning, but it didnt happen, probably for the best since I need to get my birth control today sometime. -sigh-

Met up with my friend Pam at the market, and her girl friend Jenny who is just now getting the plague. Lost Greg in the mess of people and felt like a jerk for it. I wandered around for 15 minutes after I finished shopping looking for him, but I couldnt find him at any of the places I knew he would stop.

On the way out a white coloured car was driving towards me witha woman frantically waving, at me apparently. Since I didnt think I knew any one with a car, I thought she was waving at someone else until I realized I was the only one in the parking lot. G, dont drive in cars with tinted windows it creeps me out.  I really should hang out with her more, so lets make a date for when I get back from Tdot.

I also just voted, for municipal governance. I cant wait til elections are over. I understand and respect the fact that I am in control of who governs me and I have a choice, and a right to say who I would like to govern me. However I also recognize that NO government will ever make me 100% content and happy. There willl always be turmoil, scandal and unrest amoung the people. But I am going to use the rights I have been given (and deserve) until they are taken away from me, at which point I will rebel. And seeing me raving mad is something only a few people have lived through unscathed.

Come in, Enjoy my personal space! [/sarcasm]

Bag of Rye Flour ($2)
Bag of Oats ($4)
Bagels ($6)
3Lb of apples ($3)
