cant knock free stuff

Ive had a decent couple of days. I am trying to let the good outweigh the bad. Im tired of being negative all the time.

Zoe got me a free month at the gym which I have used twice so far in two days. I am hoping to go for 30-45 minutes every day until the ‘membership’ is up. However today I made a pig out of myself afterwards. I was walking thorugh a mall and managed to justify buying the worlds largest shawarma ever made. As the owner of the ‘resteraunt’ was making it I made mention to this being my first shawarma in 4 years and he gave me a salad and a stuffed grapeleaf for free. yum yumyum but sore bellies. I think I may need tomake meals before I go to the gym, and eat them when i come back, because I definatly cannot eat junk like that after every visit to the gym.

Yesterday I was supposed to get 2 pieces of furniture, a couch and a bedframe. I got the bedframe today (which needs to be assembled, oi). But the couch was lifted out from under me. It was very upsetting because it would have matched my living room so well. Now I may have to settle for a couch someone is peddling as ‘burgandy’ but as any moron could see it is violet purple. Oh well, thats why you get couch covers.

Seany is still trying to squeeze some work out for me. He called today with information on the project, and I am psyched beyond belief.

Greg and I are going to see “Speed Racer” tonight. I cant wait, I used to love the trance version of the opening credits when i was a teenager… yes thats my only reason for wanting to see the movie. I know its sad. Ive never even seen the cartoon, so I dont know the plot at all. I hope it gives some background info.

and he’s still asleep

It has been mentioned repeatedly by many people that I do not hang out with my friends very much. And this is very true. Many of my dearest friends have moved away, and of the two who are here, I currently work with one at the StupidStore so I see her 3-5 days a week, Im sitting in the others apartment currently.

Birdie - Lives in Switzerland.
Meisty - Lives inĀ  St. Catherines
Vero - Lives in Banf (currently)
Tash & Karls- Lives in Montreal
Reta - Lives in Utah and has a bun in the oven
Chicken - Lives somewhere in Ontario that is a 5 hour drive from Ottawa
Marie - Is on another continent
But I know I can count on them, just like I would bend over backwards for any of them. Meisty may have some work for me from the Gov. which would totally blow me away. And that is what good friends do for each other.

On friday evening I thought the world was falling apart. I had lost my cell phone. My only means of communication with the outside world. On saturday it got worse I opened two pieces of mail that said I was being sent to collections.

Since then, ive gotten a new cell phone (after jumping through hoops). As well Ive ironed out most of the issues with the two companies regarding overdue accounts. No bad credit for me.

Today I look ‘not unlike’ a pin-up model. I curled my hair last night before I went to bed, but after seeing “Harold and Kumar: Escape from Guantanamo Bay”. Or maybe my hair curled itself because of all the cockmeatsammich that was mentioned in the movie. Either way, Ive benifited.

In a few short minutes I will be going to dinner with my parents and grandmother for mothers day… even though it is 2 days away. The joys of a day off. Speaking of which, working for the stupid store again is killing me. I really need another job. A real job. Ive been sending out resumes non-stop. Although not even 10 minutes I relaized I had overlooked an entire market - publishing. I should really be applying to local publishing firms as well.

I hope tommorow I can head out to the market. I need something to calm down the corperate crazy.
