fifth business

Today on my walk to work, I found a gucci watch, face down in a puddle. It still works, and it is beautiful. My first inclination was to keep it and not tell anyone how I came upon this 300$ watch. But then my moral compass kicked in and I posted it on a lost and found page online and in a newspaper. I am secretly (not so secretly) hoping no on claims it. It is SO darling, I really want to keep it.

On the way home from work, a girl on the ferry had the same purse as me, and it turns out it is from biscuit and is worth 75$ ( i got mine for free, i thought it was from some dingy little store) . I actually own nice things from high end stores!

Side not : Im reading American  Psycho and all the name dropping is starting to get to me i think.

Today I bought myself some lovely purple Gladiolus gflowers, and some purple nail polish to go with them. I do not feel bad about it either. This new job has made me my rent for the next month, so all I need to do is keep it and I will be set for the next several months, which will be very very sweet. I cant wait to have money again.

Hoping Greg calls tonight. Its not a night I want to be lonely. Dont know why.

I got the amazing new job. I spent friday morning at it for 5 hours, as well as today. Tomorrow I go back, in 2.5 days I have made just under 250$. *excitement* I am hoping that in august they will need me 30+ hrs a week. The guys I work with are all great, they are all french and I cant understand a word they say. Its great :)

It’s sad when there isnt anything new to report. So how ’bout “writing” about something that happened near a month ago that I should have posted then. I’ve been promising photos of things forever so here are the two most important parts of my birthday, my “cake” and my best friend

This morning, I went to an interview with a local company. They are looking for a parttime employee, which will turn into a full time job eventually, which would be ideal for me right now. Not only that but I said all the right words to impress them. I am very very excited about it. I hope to hear from them next week.

However I twisted my ankle and scraped my knee on the way out, so now I had better get the job, ruining a pair of 100$ shoes is not cool.
