I purchased these two items from FD, the bag before I started working there and the hoodie yesterday. I love them both, and am insanely excited about the hoodie. Yes you heard me right im excited over a hoodie… See I have this problem with a massive ego and so my head wont fit inside the hoods on hoodies or if it does the wind blows the hood down causing my brain cells to shrink and freeze in the winter wind. True story, happened once. But this hoodie this glorious hoodie keeps my brains warm, the hood is SO HUGE and delightfully fleecy on the inside.

So far I have finished one painting, and have a large scale one almost done, and a few more colour layers on a medium sized one. So hopefully by sunday I will have 3 done.

On the nights where I stay at Greg’s place, the next morning I always expect to see my building in ruins. I dont know why, it might be because I live in a slum house, or because all the people in my building are druggies. Several times I have woken up at midnight hyperventilating wondering if the fire trucks are heading towards my apartment or away. Sometimes I think that my apartment will be broken into, and all of my nice things will be stolen. Either way I would be screwed because I do not have insurance. I have an apartment showing today, I am hoping my friend Sam likes the apartment, I just want out ASAP.

In Happier news, I have another part time job at Fashionably Dead. This is happier for many reasons. As with many clothing companies, I get a discount for being an employee (how much, I am not at liberty to say *evil smile* and no I will not be letting anyone use my discount *glower* ), but I also get to go to the tattoo festival for free because we will have a booth. So I can either work the festival or attend the festival, either way YAY ME.

My art show is in 6 weeks and I am SO NOT PREPARED!

A lot of really interesting things have been going on right now. But Whenever I have had the chance to write about it my mind goes blank or I have no inspiration.

I’ve been working at the cafe quite a bit, it will never be like working in design but for a parttime job it is possibly the most amazing thing right now. One of the girls quit, and most of her shifts have been given to me which means I will have more time during slow periods to work on a business plan. Speaking of graphic design 4 positions just opened up locally and one in the NWT. I am hoping to get a call back on any of them. Right now I would take the one up north, its not like I eat expensive food anyways (bread milk meat) or have a car.

Tomorrow I have a meeting for the Young & Fearless project. I’ve decided to be the “auctioneer”, hopefully they need some design or marketing. Not that I dont enjoy doing other things, I would just really like to be able to say I did something in my field for this project.

A few weeks ago I took this photo of food from the market and then felt very dirty for some reason. I think it was because a lot of the food pictured (Broccoli, tomato’s, chives) are all summer veggie’s and even though I bought them from the market they probably came from the same suppliers asthe Stupid Store.

I feel less guilty about these flowers, I bought them at Pete’s Frootique, and I know the supplier is the same as the stupidstore, however Pete’s sells them cheaper and with more variety of colours. These are Petticoat/Double tulips. I love the colour of yellow, its a nice Naples.
